This Privacy Policy describes how Miao Technologies LLC ("Bible Hz," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Bible Hz mobile app and the website at biblehz.com (together, the “Services”).

Bible Hz is a devotional, restful audio app that plays Bible passages over calming frequencies. We collect only what we need to make it work.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier, your name (if shared), and an email (which may be an Apple private-relay address).
  • Preferences. Language, narrator voice, saved verses, and in-app settings.
  • Voice input. If you use “Ask the Bible” by voice, we process the audio to turn it into text and return a passage. We do not keep recordings for advertising.
  • Support messages. Anything you email to upskincontactus@gmail.com.

Information collected automatically

  • Device. Model, operating system, language, time zone, crash diagnostics, and app version.
  • Usage. Screens viewed and features used, in aggregate, to improve the app — not to build an advertising profile.
  • Push tokens. If you enable them, we store the Apple or Google push token to deliver your daily verse.
We do not collect bank details, card numbers, government IDs, or your precise GPS location.

2. How we use information

  • Provide and personalize the Services (voice, language, saved verses).
  • Generate responses for “Ask the Bible.”
  • Process subscriptions, trials, and renewals through Apple or Google.
  • Send service messages and, if you opt in, your daily verse.
  • Analyze aggregated usage to improve features and fix crashes.

3. How we share

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers under contract:

  • Cloud & data. Supabase (authentication and database).
  • App stores & subscriptions. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat (subscription receipts).
  • AI. Large-language-model providers for the “Ask the Bible” feature, with the minimum data required.
  • Distribution. Expo Application Services (over-the-air app updates).
  • Legal. Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4. Data retention

We retain account information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit (TLS), scoped access, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we respond quickly to any incident.

6. Your choices & rights

  • Access, update, or delete data from Settings in the app, or by emailing us.
  • Manage notifications in your device settings.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account.

Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, port, or object. We do not sell or “share” data for behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email upskincontactus@gmail.com.

7. Children

The Services are intended for users 13 and older (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email. The date at the top always reflects the latest revision.
